The President of a large private company recently contacted us. He told DDC that he was at a party in the early 80s when a gun accidentally went off, the police came, everyone but he ran away, and so he was arrested. He could not remember the disposition of the case but thought it may have been dropped, and he wanted to see what, if any, information was available to the public.
DDC found that he was arrested and charged for 2 felonies, unlicensed use of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance (cocaine). Both charges were eventually dropped.
